portfolioRetailTxt[1]=new Array("organic","One of the first organic cosmetic brand to enter the Chinese market, Australia's Organic Natralox came to my company asking for a complete rebranding : new visual identity, logo, website, merchandising guidelines, counter displays, packaging etc. I was in charge of this project and orchestrated it by creating a clean, simple design using recycled materials and earthy colors to create a reassuring balance between unadulterated nature and dependable, state-of-the-art technology.
The brand's image centers on the twin themes of organic purity and high technology, consequently we kept colors to a natural palette - suggestive of wood and earth - but combined these with a streamlined, ultra-clean design aesthetic. Displaying each product encased within a glass bell further adds to the overall impression of dependable sterility.
The first counter openend in Suzhou in 2008. Over the years I have changed the design according to the feedbacks we where receiving. 2 more counters have sinced open, one in Hangzhou and the other in Shanghai.");

Simplifying the previous display, I also injected a greater amount of white into the overall design and incorporated new materials and shapes. At the same time, edges were sharpened, and techniques were devised to hide stock, creating a much cleaner, less cluttered display.");

Therefore our solutions not only had to provide a new and exciting store design with a watch display as its centre-piece, but also incorporate and revamp existing elements in order to bridge the gap between the old and the new to come next year.");
portfolioRetailTxt[10]=new Array("helios","Hennessy's Helios brand asked us to create a exposition stand for the promotion of their new Helios ribbon bottle. For this I decided to play on the elements already at hand, using the big ribbon as a centerpiece to promote the bottle surrounded by individual glorifiers. The passerbys are invited to walk around the area and if interested are directed to the center VIP space where they can try the liquor and discover it's qualities. This stall lasted the whole month of april 2011 in the Xujiahui shopping mall.");
portfolioRetailTxt[11]=new Array("hennessy","We were asked to create a generic stand-alone for the Hennessy brand, one that would be interesting and subtle and that could be suitable for every one of the different families of hennessy products. This turned out to be a real challenge as every brand has it's own guidelines that are very different one from the other. I opted for a very simple metalic black steel look with clear glass shelves that lean back in order to present every level in its fullest. Placed adjacent to a lightbox with the same lean, this standalone ensures perfect visibility to attract the passing customers.");

Inside you can find the Hennessy Artistry concert hall used for musical events. We were asked to brand the area to the colors of Hennessy creating and designing all the elements to fit with the brand and the modern/vibrant look it wished to emphasize.");

With a design based around the traditional French game of boules, and incorporating the vibrant colours of the company's packaging, we created a strong identity for the brand in their retail space. Shopper curiosity was spiked by styling mannequins as boules-players and placing them around the store as if involved in a game.");

Intricate design called for a simple display, but by incorporating moving elements and using smoked glass that only reveals the product when lit from inside, we were able to create a cabinet worthy of, and yet not distracting from, its contents.");

In order to adapt their image to the differing cultural conditions, the company approached me to devise an appropriate concept and branding direction for their in-house designers to work on. In recognition of the brand's historic Parisian origins, the chosen concept took late 19th century Hausmanian architecture as its central theme.");

The owner of this establishment asked us to create a high class environment in which guests can relax over an early-evening drink, or enjoy each other's company on the extensive open-air terrace.
In addition to designing BED's interior layout and furnishings, we were asked to create a complete visual identity for the bar. Taking into account the client's input and ideas, we combined the simple modernity of the interior with the sensuous lace of the Maitresse D's evening attire.

Taking the company's existing visual identities as our starting point, we brought these brands to life in three-dimensions: creating two luxury KTV rooms of about 100m2 in Xia Men. Each room contains a private bar and games area in addition to the KTV zone, with all details and furnishings specially designed and manufactured to fit the brand's image.");
